Mountain Meadow Ranch is centrally located for many of the popular activities on the Big Island.
Waipio Valley
You can hike Waipio from the bottom of the valley or start from the top off of White road, just a few miles from Mountain Meadow Ranch.
Parker Ranch
You can drive through the picturesque ranch which borders our area. If you are lucky you will see the cowboys working the cattle.
Cycling
Some of our guests cycle up the Hamakua coast and through the Parker Ranch
Horseback riding
There are several facilities in the area. Some offer open range riding with participants split into riding skill groups.
Mauna Kea Observatory
This world famous facility is accessable by car although snow can preclude access in the winter.
Hamakua coast
Some of the most beautiful scenery in the islands is a short drive away. Waterfalls, spectacular beaches and tropical foliage delight the eye as you wend your way toward Hilo.
Volcano
Volcanoes National Park is the most visited park in Hawaii and if your timing is right you will be treated to spectacular lava flows.
